Pearl is already showing so much promise. She is long, level and has the most stretchy dairy skin. Her Granddam, Thistle Creek Briar Rose is a finished permanent champion so we had high hopes for this black beauty.

Pearl Freshened with a single buckling her FF and I was impressed by her large teats and milkability, she was a handmilkers dream! Her udder is attached well and filled nice and high.

Her second freshening has brought even more of the good things we love about Pearl. Her teats are even thicker and we were able to put her on a one day milk test where she earned her star milking 3.31lbs. She also produced the highest butterfat of all the animals we tested in 2021 with 5.54% 70 days fresh.
